hmm. let's c. wenyuan says my blog posts shouldnt be too long so i shall make this as short as possible. after school, me sherry elaine wenyuan went out for lunch at macs. reached at about 2 oclock. n we were like laughing [esp me. heh] non-stop over NOTHING at all. ok. mayb it's just me. n i seriously dunno wad i found so funny. yup. anyway, i think we were seriously spastic. x) haha.

at about 2.30, we decided to walk over to kfc cos some 113-ers and 110-ers were there. but then along the way, some sec1s said we had to assemble at 3. was quite confusing. n me n wenyuan were alr on the escalator. then i realised wad happened, so i ran up the 3 steps from the top of the escalator. haha. siao rite. WENYUAN'S WORSE!!! she ran up like HALF of the escalator. hahax. SPASTIC. was in one of my moods today. x)

yupyup. after that, at like 3.30 the loose cannon show started. it's by some australian group about poetry and it's REALLY REALLY funny. esp the shakespeare poetry part. haha. but before that, in the middle, it was kinda boring and some of us felt like sleeping.

haha. yup. that's it. quite short alr rite? shorter than usual at least.. x)

2day after school we had 2.4km run. actually during the day, it was raining really heavily and the track was really wet. so most people were hoping that it would continue to rain so that we wont need to run. haha. but no such luck. it stopped and became really sunny at about 1.

after school, we quickly changed and went to assemble at the netball courts. spent some time jumping around with sherry, cj, emily, etc. haha. was feeling kinda hyper i guess. soon, at about 3.45, they called our class. we got some slips to record the times so we thought we were going to be one of the first to run. GOD KNOWS! we ran at like 5+... haiz.

so when it was our turn to run, we got ready. i was recording for ryl and she IS fast. as they ran, we [the recorders] were cheering for them! so nice rite. anw, soon it was my turn to run. mmhmm. glad i didnt get any stitch throughout the run! there r about 4-5 stations [ending points] in total and at every station sure got people cheering for me de! so nice! haha. i think i kinda liked that. esp when i reached MY station. 110 cheered REALLY LOUDLY! u guys totally rawk. n a little further on, some 113-ers [including sherry DUH~] cheered for me 2!!! haha. so fun!

yupyup. n before i knew it, i was done. somewhere along the 4th round, i wanted to stop and start walking but i told myself to carry on. so proud of myself! >< *ego* haha. anyways, my timing was 15.07mins. okok larh. not rly rly gd, but not that bad either. at least, it was better than what i thought it would be (:

after that, i hung arnd 2 cheer for some ppl [quite alot actually. ><] wif sherry. they had netball training after that so i went back to class to change at about 6. mmhmm. then i decided to go 2 sweet talk wif meijun and it jus so happened that sherilyn and lingyue were on their way there. haha. after buying the drinks, we went into kfc. n sarah n deenie were there. hahax. stayed until almost 7 then i started for home. later then usual, but WHO CARES!

hey every1! yupyup. had philo ytd. was rly rly rly cool NOT because philo rawks. but cos' last wk was the LAST LAST LAST philo lesson! x) it's supposed to end in wk8, but since next wk is labourday-holiday, and wk7 is SA wk. so guess wad? NO MORE PHILO!! yayness. yup. but the speech n drama grp still have 2 more lessons, god knows wad the soon-to-not-be philo people will do. hahax. get a free block? yea mann.

mmhmm. aesthetics. 110'07 shld noe rite. wednesdays totally rawk!!! cos it's aesthetics day! at least that's wad i call it. anyways, it's RS followed by THREE hours of aesthetics [needlework-done, design n tech-now, music and dance-next]. it's really really slack. totally. yup. after the 3 hrs of aesthetics, we have 1 block of maths n that's it for the day! sho kewl rite. ><

2day was our firs lesson in the workroom. but last wk was our FIRST. we had 2 go to the artroom, where we drew some shapes and did the colour wheel. twas quite ermm.. relaxed but a bit boring? ya. haha. anyways, 2day in the workroom, the first hr was spent by the tchr telling us about components [resistor, transistor, capacitor, blah blah blah] yupyup. n he was using ppt. n all of us were lyk falling asleep, at least i was. haha. me n elaine were lyk passing notes for the WHOLE hour. x) naughty. haha.

after that, we got our sensors and started to work on them. actually it's quite easy. n we had 2 soulder the wires on the back of that thingy. forgot what it's called. haha. i lyk souldering. i think it's nice. looks abit lyk the icing or choc found on cakes. haha. i noe. i link everything 2 food. no need 2 remind me. heh.

haha. i personally think the light sensors are the easiest 2 do, all the ppl doing that finish so fast. i was doin sound sensor, which i think it is quite hard. but anw, MORE SOULDERING!! yup. after i finished the circuit board, then i asked enting 4 help n started 2 bend the acryllic boards, with some preparation of course, needless to say.

so. this is what we do to bend the acryllic boards. sorry if i sound long-winded, but i think it's rly rly cool. x) mmhmm. so, on the acryllic boards, there was some paper pasted on both sides [dun ask me why]. then we were asked to mark out 6cm and 6.5cm on either sides, n they gave us some really cool thing so that we could a draw a straight line with the ruler measuring at the same time. heh. and then, we put the line we drew on some very very hot thing so that it will melt. when it's ok, quickly remove it, put the former [a block of wood] against the line, n bend the acryllic. haha.

but but, when i was jus going to do the second bend, we were told that the measurements were wrong. it was supposed to be 5cm n 5.5cm. haha. yea. denise was soo xcited cos she thinks it's fun to bend it. WHICH IS TRUE!!! hahax. anw, by that time, it was already lyk 12.15... so anyways, i bent one side and we had 2 stop 2 clear up le. sho sad. i think i could have finished but haiz.. NVM! can continue next wk!!! yay!!!

ahhh!! 2mr 2.4km run. shyt larh. im so gonna flunk it. not lyk sherry, so freaking pro. 5rnds 11.42secs. BLEAH~

OH YESH! we were scribbling WITH elaine's pens/markers and ON elaine's notebook. haha poor dear. oh n we were lyk practicing 2 write with our non-writing hands. haha. my words turned out funny. i think lingyue's looked the nicest! x)

hey hey! sry sry 4 not posting. actually, i think i onli blog when there're major events. so anw, this post's major event-RG guides annual assembly (AA) as the title suggests. yupyup.

so, at 2.15 we fall in n guides session officially started. AA was supp 2 end by 10.30 that day. guests were due 2 arrive at 6.30. so in the meantime we practiced n got ready 4 the night. the sec4s n recruits went 2 practice their dance, which obvi includes me since im a recruit. yes yes. i danced that night, n it's a rly rly nice dance wif nice music-come on over baby [thx weiting n zhixian! u guys rawk!! <333] while we practiced, the rest went 2 set up the decor, food, etc.

at about 4, we had rehearsals. AA was supp 2 b held in the amphi but since it rained heavily, the seats were still wet n it might rain again in the night, so it was held in the hall. so we went arnd working lyk buzzing bees to get everything ready for THE NIGHT.

at about 6, guests started streaming in. oh yesh, they r scouts n guides fr other schools such as ACS, RI 01/02, HCI, st nicks, st margs, CHIJ tp, SJI, n some more that i cant rmbr.. n we also ivited RG psb, pb, ncc land, ncc air, npcc sea, gb, rcy. ok. so by 7, quite alot of ppl were seated n we were bombing n cheering. all the recruits quite nervous cos our performance was somewhere at the start.

finally AA started. when the various schools had 2 do their sch cheers to attract more customers 4 the bakers [we-recruits-were the customers]. we were lyk sooper xcited alr larh. by the time RI 01 started cheering, we got up n left for backstage. after a anxious long w8, we were due on the stage. i was quite nervous but once we started i felt a little more comfortable. oh btw, i was standing in the firs row, which might xplain a bit more. heh. >< oh yea, when we entered the stage, twas very kewl cos every1 started clapping n cheering. n while we dance they clapped wif the music n cheered at the same time. quite a nice feeling. (:

yup. after that, the concert was a blast n rly rly fun. RI n ACS performance quite kewl - breakdancing. >< but i think ACS one nicer, no offence RI-ians. heh. jus speaking fr my own personal view. yup. everybody quite enthu. esp the seniors. i think cos of the 'most enthu sch' prize. haha. but anw, GOOD JOB Y'ALL!!!

then we went down 2 the canteen, quite alot of ppl left alr n there was very lil food left. during that time, every1 was giving out presents. next yr i better rmbr 2 giv. after that, we fall in n proceeded 2 clean up diff places in the sku. at about 11 then we were dismissed. twas a rly rly nice night anyways (:

REHEARSAL! ok, all the sec1s had 2 reach the stadium by 10am for march pass n mass dance rehearsal. twas okok lorh, jus that it was SWELTERING HOT. n we were under the sun for a few hrs. sighs... all the sacrifices i made for mass dance.. that was the 3rd sun treatment to my skin!!! ahh!!! i got a heat rash after last last wk's rehearsal alr larh...

ok anw, when the seniors were all there. the GOH came. sports fest was open. and we did our march past and mass dance. quite cool larh. mass dance ish quite nice. oh yea, n somehow, i ended right in the middle of the horizontal line of "H". OH YES! we got 2 wear purple bandanas for mass dance. i lyk it. then continue wearing but in the end must return.

supp 2 run 8x50m but there was 1 xtra so i let my senior run. c, i so nice. >< anw, cant rly rmbr and... let's skip 2 the most xciting part - THE WINNER!!!

at about 2.30, we decided to walk over to kfc cos some 113-ers and 110-ers were there. but then along the way, some sec1s said we had to assemble at 3. was quite confusing. n me n wenyuan were alr on the escalator. then i realised wad happened, so i ran up the 3 steps from the top of the escalator. haha. siao rite. WENYUAN'S WORSE!!! she ran up like HALF of the escalator. hahax. SPASTIC. was in one of my moods today. x)

yupyup. after that, at like 3.30 the loose cannon show started. it's by some australian group about poetry and it's REALLY REALLY funny. esp the shakespeare poetry part. haha. but before that, in the middle, it was kinda boring and some of us felt like sleeping.

haha. yup. that's it. quite short alr rite? shorter than usual at least.. x)

2day after school we had 2.4km run. actually during the day, it was raining really heavily and the track was really wet. so most people were hoping that it would continue to rain so that we wont need to run. haha. but no such luck. it stopped and became really sunny at about 1.

after school, we quickly changed and went to assemble at the netball courts. spent some time jumping around with sherry, cj, emily, etc. haha. was feeling kinda hyper i guess. soon, at about 3.45, they called our class. we got some slips to record the times so we thought we were going to be one of the first to run. GOD KNOWS! we ran at like 5+... haiz.

so when it was our turn to run, we got ready. i was recording for ryl and she IS fast. as they ran, we [the recorders] were cheering for them! so nice rite. anw, soon it was my turn to run. mmhmm. glad i didnt get any stitch throughout the run! there r about 4-5 stations [ending points] in total and at every station sure got people cheering for me de! so nice! haha. i think i kinda liked that. esp when i reached MY station. 110 cheered REALLY LOUDLY! u guys totally rawk. n a little further on, some 113-ers [including sherry DUH~] cheered for me 2!!! haha. so fun!

yupyup. n before i knew it, i was done. somewhere along the 4th round, i wanted to stop and start walking but i told myself to carry on. so proud of myself! >< *ego* haha. anyways, my timing was 15.07mins. okok larh. not rly rly gd, but not that bad either. at least, it was better than what i thought it would be (:

after that, i hung arnd 2 cheer for some ppl [quite alot actually. ><] wif sherry. they had netball training after that so i went back to class to change at about 6. mmhmm. then i decided to go 2 sweet talk wif meijun and it jus so happened that sherilyn and lingyue were on their way there. haha. after buying the drinks, we went into kfc. n sarah n deenie were there. hahax. stayed until almost 7 then i started for home. later then usual, but WHO CARES!

im happy happy happy. at least i got a gold for NAPFA. hahax. my total points ish 25. worse than last yr's but still... STILL HAPPY! jiayouu every1 <3

hey every1! yupyup. had philo ytd. was rly rly rly cool NOT because philo rawks. but cos' last wk was the LAST LAST LAST philo lesson! x) it's supposed to end in wk8, but since next wk is labourday-holiday, and wk7 is SA wk. so guess wad? NO MORE PHILO!! yayness. yup. but the speech n drama grp still have 2 more lessons, god knows wad the soon-to-not-be philo people will do. hahax. get a free block? yea mann.

mmhmm. aesthetics. 110'07 shld noe rite. wednesdays totally rawk!!! cos it's aesthetics day! at least that's wad i call it. anyways, it's RS followed by THREE hours of aesthetics [needlework-done, design n tech-now, music and dance-next]. it's really really slack. totally. yup. after the 3 hrs of aesthetics, we have 1 block of maths n that's it for the day! sho kewl rite. ><

2day was our firs lesson in the workroom. but last wk was our FIRST. we had 2 go to the artroom, where we drew some shapes and did the colour wheel. twas quite ermm.. relaxed but a bit boring? ya. haha. anyways, 2day in the workroom, the first hr was spent by the tchr telling us about components [resistor, transistor, capacitor, blah blah blah] yupyup. n he was using ppt. n all of us were lyk falling asleep, at least i was. haha. me n elaine were lyk passing notes for the WHOLE hour. x) naughty. haha.

after that, we got our sensors and started to work on them. actually it's quite easy. n we had 2 soulder the wires on the back of that thingy. forgot what it's called. haha. i lyk souldering. i think it's nice. looks abit lyk the icing or choc found on cakes. haha. i noe. i link everything 2 food. no need 2 remind me. heh.

haha. i personally think the light sensors are the easiest 2 do, all the ppl doing that finish so fast. i was doin sound sensor, which i think it is quite hard. but anw, MORE SOULDERING!! yup. after i finished the circuit board, then i asked enting 4 help n started 2 bend the acryllic boards, with some preparation of course, needless to say.

so. this is what we do to bend the acryllic boards. sorry if i sound long-winded, but i think it's rly rly cool. x) mmhmm. so, on the acryllic boards, there was some paper pasted on both sides [dun ask me why]. then we were asked to mark out 6cm and 6.5cm on either sides, n they gave us some really cool thing so that we could a draw a straight line with the ruler measuring at the same time. heh. and then, we put the line we drew on some very very hot thing so that it will melt. when it's ok, quickly remove it, put the former [a block of wood] against the line, n bend the acryllic. haha.

but but, when i was jus going to do the second bend, we were told that the measurements were wrong. it was supposed to be 5cm n 5.5cm. haha. yea. denise was soo xcited cos she thinks it's fun to bend it. WHICH IS TRUE!!! hahax. anw, by that time, it was already lyk 12.15... so anyways, i bent one side and we had 2 stop 2 clear up le. sho sad. i think i could have finished but haiz.. NVM! can continue next wk!!! yay!!!

ahhh!! 2mr 2.4km run. shyt larh. im so gonna flunk it. not lyk sherry, so freaking pro. 5rnds 11.42secs. BLEAH~

ahahaha. yay. im keeping up wif my new 'dedication'. yupyup. anw, tis monday 2day (duh~). which is my free day. a.k.a. short day. haha. was kinda hyper today. lyk rly. go ask elaine if u dun believe me. no monday blues 4 me 2day! tho mr lau had, cos he was wearing that blue top. x) lame i noe. yay.

mmhmm. anw, during CLE, when we were in our groups discussing the SL thingy, we finished the "so-called worksheet" in about 15mins. the rest of the 45 mins was spent jus talking n listening 2 other grps. haha. lame i noe. yupyup. OH YESH! we were scribbling WITH elaine's pens/markers and ON elaine's notebook. haha poor dear. oh n we were lyk practicing 2 write with our non-writing hands. haha. my words turned out funny. i think lingyue's looked the nicest! x)

mmhmm. lemme tell u more about SL. our class ish doing about RGS-land use. n my group, WELSH [wenyuan, elaine, lingyue, sherilyn, huijie], ish doin q6. which is basically counting the number of potted plants outdoors to find some ratio thingy. haha. quite kewl larh. so anw, WELSH JIAYOUU!!! haha.

gosh! i realised sth. i picked up wanhui's 'habit' of using "mmhmm". haha. nvm. i LOVE <3333 her! yup. had eng FA 2day, due 2mr. yup. i noe. stress. but i finished it alr! (: actually, i finished all my hw due 2mr [including philo pt. did it over the wkend. hey hey! sry sry 4 not posting. actually, i think i onli blog when there're major events. so anw, this post's major event-RG guides annual assembly (AA) as the title suggests. yupyup.

so, at 2.15 we fall in n guides session officially started. AA was supp 2 end by 10.30 that day. guests were due 2 arrive at 6.30. so in the meantime we practiced n got ready 4 the night. the sec4s n recruits went 2 practice their dance, which obvi includes me since im a recruit. yes yes. i danced that night, n it's a rly rly nice dance wif nice music-come on over baby [thx weiting n zhixian! u guys rawk!! <333] while we practiced, the rest went 2 set up the decor, food, etc.

at about 4, we had rehearsals. AA was supp 2 b held in the amphi but since it rained heavily, the seats were still wet n it might rain again in the night, so it was held in the hall. so we went arnd working lyk buzzing bees to get everything ready for THE NIGHT.

at about 6, guests started streaming in. oh yesh, they r scouts n guides fr other schools such as ACS, RI 01/02, HCI, st nicks, st margs, CHIJ tp, SJI, n some more that i cant rmbr.. n we also ivited RG psb, pb, ncc land, ncc air, npcc sea, gb, rcy. ok. so by 7, quite alot of ppl were seated n we were bombing n cheering. all the recruits quite nervous cos our performance was somewhere at the start.

finally AA started. when the various schools had 2 do their sch cheers to attract more customers 4 the bakers [we-recruits-were the customers]. we were lyk sooper xcited alr larh. by the time RI 01 started cheering, we got up n left for backstage. after a anxious long w8, we were due on the stage. i was quite nervous but once we started i felt a little more comfortable. oh btw, i was standing in the firs row, which might xplain a bit more. heh. >< oh yea, when we entered the stage, twas very kewl cos every1 started clapping n cheering. n while we dance they clapped wif the music n cheered at the same time. quite a nice feeling. (:

yup. after that, the concert was a blast n rly rly fun. RI n ACS performance quite kewl - breakdancing. >< but i think ACS one nicer, no offence RI-ians. heh. jus speaking fr my own personal view. yup. everybody quite enthu. esp the seniors. i think cos of the 'most enthu sch' prize. haha. but anw, GOOD JOB Y'ALL!!!

after that, we had 2 clean up. every1 was rly rly nice n helped us 2 stack the chairs back up. so nice rite? yup. then while they all went down 4 refreshments, we stayed back 2 clean up the hall. mmhmm.

then we went down 2 the canteen, quite alot of ppl left alr n there was very lil food left. during that time, every1 was giving out presents. next yr i better rmbr 2 giv. after that, we fall in n proceeded 2 clean up diff places in the sku. at about 11 then we were dismissed. twas a rly rly nice night anyways (:

hey. sry sry sry for all the super super l8 posts. but, im rly rly bz n yar.. sry. anw, sports fest on monday. kk. erm. let's start wif.... REHEARSAL! ok, all the sec1s had 2 reach the stadium by 10am for march pass n mass dance rehearsal. twas okok lorh, jus that it was SWELTERING HOT. n we were under the sun for a few hrs. sighs... all the sacrifices i made for mass dance.. that was the 3rd sun treatment to my skin!!! ahh!!! i got a heat rash after last last wk's rehearsal alr larh...

ok anw, when the seniors were all there. the GOH came. sports fest was open. and we did our march past and mass dance. quite cool larh. mass dance ish quite nice. oh yea, n somehow, i ended right in the middle of the horizontal line of "H". OH YES! we got 2 wear purple bandanas for mass dance. i lyk it. then continue wearing but in the end must return.

supp 2 run 8x50m but there was 1 xtra so i let my senior run. c, i so nice. >< anw, cant rly rmbr and... let's skip 2 the most xciting part - THE WINNER!!!
