weeeeeeeeeeeeeee. today was considerably fun. ((:

hm. aces was umm quite fun, and exceptionally fun when we saw a certain teacher do the skipping rope part of the dance. haha. right. and the performance was quite okay-ish and normal-ish i guess. except for the surprise performance which was really really funny. haha. BLA. x)

so after we were dismissed, i went to put the presents in the teachers' lockers. GAWD. it was freaking crowded and i had to like squeeze my way through and it took about 15-20mins. i finished with aching arms and blah blah blah. haha.

then i went to the foyer. cj sherry cheryl were there. so the four of us left [we cabbed] for taonan. emily clarisse joy liting left already. hemin selene jingjie yanling were nowhere to be found. ahwells.

when we reached, the p6 gep were playing captain's ball. and so we joined in. yes, they are pretty rough. maybe because there are so many of them, n i kept worrying i would step back and hit someone who would someone behind that someone. like dominoes, yes. x)

oh yes oh yes. ms theng has become alot stricter and fiercer. but she's still a very very very nice teacher! <3

during the hall performance, me waye jae sherry went to parkway to buy lunch for ms theng and mrs tan. haha. we're such great students. but by the time we came back, turns out we missed the entire hall performance. ahwells.

right. after that, we hung around and went to the staffroom. after LOTS of dragging and stuff, we finally left taonan, though none of the teachers could follow us cos' they had other activities. anyway, we decided to go to parkway for lunch. mmhmm. then after lunch, everyone went home.

but me n cj went to sherry's house. stoned for about 1hr++ and then headed home. gawd. on the way home on bus10, there were soooo many major traffic jams can. it took 1hr, instead of the usual 30mins. =.=

well, i guess i should have expected this. yet, i know there was a part of me silently praying and hoping we would turn out to be better and make it there. but, the evaluators have made their decision. yes, we will not be going to sydney for the finals; yes, we will not have a chance of getting into the world finals; yes, my hopes have been dashed; BUT no, i will not give up and i will continue to strive hard and try and make it to sydney and usa subsequently next year :D

on a side note, CONGRATS! to joy, clarrise, cheryl and yanling. (: the only sec1 team to make it there. JIAYOUUS <3 and congrats to the other two sec3 teams too!

right. enough about fpsp. maths. i kindof flunked it. especially that super super hard question. where i got really weird fractions with 17 as its denominator. some got the same answer as me, but several got nice whole numbers. so i guess im wrong. does that equate to 5marks gone? please no....

aesthetics today. quite tiring. cos' we were on our feet alot. for percussion, i played the glockenspiel. it's actually quite fun, albeit a little hard at the beginning. yup, but i think it's quite fun! (:

and then dance. hmm. twas actually quite boring. cos basically we were repeating the same steps over and over again. but still... we learnt the cha-cha. and ruth's MY GUY. haha. joking joking.

yupyup. so today. that's about it. oh yes, and the physics pt is hard. ><

blahhh. css results are out, and they are seriously seriously seriously not good. firstly, for the girls, keely won. actually i kind of expected it, since zhengning's singing aint really that great. but still, i was still holding a bit of hope when they announced the results.

now, the boys. REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD. how could shawn win?!?! he wasnt performing his best today. the first song he forget his lyrics, second song drop his belt. and he seemed to lack energy. im not saying he's not good, but i think benjamin is better! and shawn is like, too young?

BOO! the previous post was a really quick one, cos i wanted to go watch the phantom of the opera dvd with my bro and mum. yup. it's quite a cool show actually. the ending is abit sad, and i have really mixed feelings about the phantom guy. my bro didnt help much by saying stuff like "why talking also must sing?!". haha. so.


i successfully completed our jingle composition during aesthetics on wed! [kindof at least] sarah ruth me finished everything except the chords. plah. and it was the last lesson. ahwells. we're gonna start on DANCE next next wednesday. no aesthetics next week cos they're swapping it with monday's timetable.


THAT REMINDS ME! the school decided to give us a holiday on monday :D i'll probably be spending monday mugging for jap [on tuesday] and history [wed] and abit of english probably [fri]. ahhhhh. actually im most worried for jap, considering the fact that i failed the previous one. blah.

so anyway, since im reg3, i was one of the first to go back into class. and ya, it kinda seemed like another free block. haha. so then CLE. i wasnt really paying attention at the beginning. but then ms ong, sherilyn, yoon jung, may, yi wye, sarah started talking about MEMORABLE CONFLICTS o.O haha. so it was quite fun.

yay. yesterday's ndp celebrations were quite fun. but i kindof have a bad impression of the guest speaker. he wasnt wearing anything red or white, and he was wearing CROCS. it's like, overly informal rright?


anyway, i didnt really pay attention to the sec3s and sec4s class performances. the communal singing was nice. and the people in the amphi made nice circles. toobad we couldnt play with those big blue balls since we're wayyyyyyyyy high up. haha.


oh right. at the end, these really cute soft toys of pooh, eeyore, etc started sliding down these ropes. haha. and right at the very end, 2 cute bears slid down on two different ropes and two ends of the singapore flag were attached to each of them :D


so after that, we cabbed to tao nan. the boys were already there. saw ms theng and mrs crayon tan's son is soooooooooo cute! went to parkway for lunch at jack's place. dont worry cj, i WILL pay you back on monday. x) after lunch, most of them went home.


but me cj sherry waye jae went back to taonan. uberrrr irritating security guard. anyways, we found ms theng in the hall playing badminton. yup. then kevin greg arnold ben came along. but they soon left lurh, except kevin. anyway, we sat on the stage steps talking to ms theng and it was quite fun!

oh oh. i've been meaning to blog about this but i keep forgetting. haha. yup. i realised people usually call me hj, or rather, refer to me as hj. but then again, no one actually calls me that to my face, except maybe joy. x) AND people tend to spell my name as "Huijie" and not "Hui Jie". haha. my dear dear darlings, my name is in TWO words. not that i really mine though. x)

weeeee. i actually managed to pay alot of attention during jap yesterday. oh yes, and i failed my jap ca4. sometimes i wonder if it's just too much, and that it's pulling my grades down. not as if i exactly look forward to going to class either. but i just gotta tell myself that IM NOT A QUITTER!! oh yes, and i totally think guys are oh-so-very-dao, well most of them anyway. dont you just agree?


so anyway, yesterday seemed to pass at an exceedingly fast pace. well geography was as usual, real quick, because of mrs mo. and im a speaker for the GM foods debate, though i seriously honestly want to be in the opposition. ahwells. and for history, we had the presentation of the golden ages. time really flew in this one, because of all the hilarious-ness and craziness of the skits, presentations, etc.


and then recess. after that, english. which is actually quite the same. mmhmm. then maths, and mrs ang forgot the time lesson started so when she did come into class, half the lesson was past. and smart old me managed to finish all my english homework and 3/4 of the maths assignment during that "free" period.


chinese was more interesting than usual, probably because we were talking about the evolution of chinese characters which is quite fascinating if u really think about it. i think learning the basics of chinese word formation actually makes remembering how to write the words a whole lot easier. and it probably would help when u're trying to deduce its meaning too! and then com studs, i finally finished my flash project since i was done with my dreamweaver pages already ((:


so, today. not too bad. PE-aces day dance. goodness, it's really quite hard. and very tiring after all. god knows, by the end of the 5sets of dances, i was sweating and panting like crazy. ok, maybe not. some of the actions are really weird, like the "wash and dry" one. but it's actually quite fun too! took our height and weight after that. i grew by 2cm, but i lost weight. o.O


yup. and let's fast forward to history. mdm roz didnt come, i called the staffroom many times but no one picked up. so the entire class thought she was on mc. but we saw her in the hall during assembly.


and talking about assembly, today's was really interesting! the singaporean film producer hoyston tan came. and he showcased some of his films. there was this really cool one of ordinary people doing ordinary stuff yet forming music. abit like stomp i guess. then he showed us the trailer of the upcoming movie 881.


and after that, he invited eric ng on stage, a pop musician, who did songs for stephanie sun etc. yup. they were quite informal and quite amusing. they told us alot about the production of 881 and all the hard work and preparation they put in. i think it's really cool that the school exposes us to this kinda things!


and then after school, guides. vanessa passed me my guides tshirt. i think mine's huge, even though it's XS. i think i shall swap with vanessa after all, for the XXS. she is bigger sized than me anyway. haha.


guides seem to pass really quickly today as well! well, we learnt about stress management and we all passed that. and after that was company games which was really hilarious, thanks to my sec3 seniors. ha! and shortly after that, we were dismissed. (:


yay! tomorrow, gonna do CIP at orchard from 10-2. and after that, i shall go out for lunch with bernice and then we're gonna go to the popular sale at orchard mrt. :D and we'll probably go to paragon too, cos bernice wants to check out the muji store and i wanna buy more of their pens too! haha!

aesthetics. well, our song is so FUNNAYE. haha. yup. and we kinda totally scraped last week's song. talking about that, i cant even find that encore document anymore. it just, like, vanished into thin air! haha. and then later, our music arrangement, quite fun. but there was something very very wrong with our tempo mann. haha. and we got to listen to the other groups too!

BOO! the previous post was a really quick one, cos i wanted to go watch the phantom of the opera dvd with my bro and mum. yup. it's quite a cool show actually. the ending is abit sad, and i have really mixed feelings about the phantom guy. my bro didnt help much by saying stuff like "why talking also must sing?!". haha. so.


i successfully completed our jingle composition during aesthetics on wed! [kindof at least] sarah ruth me finished everything except the chords. plah. and it was the last lesson. ahwells. we're gonna start on DANCE next next wednesday. no aesthetics next week cos they're swapping it with monday's timetable.


THAT REMINDS ME! the school decided to give us a holiday on monday :D i'll probably be spending monday mugging for jap [on tuesday] and history [wed] and abit of english probably [fri]. ahhhhh. actually im most worried for jap, considering the fact that i failed the previous one. blah.


right. let me tell u a really really amazing feat. during jap on thursday, i managed to MUG GEOG, PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS, and NOT FALL ASLEEP ((((: pro-ness. yup. as for geog on friday, i thought it was pretty ok except the last question, which sadly was 7marks... and after that mrs mo said the pretty was done very badly, which obviously didnt help much. haiz.

AND im that person dying. x)


so after that was chinese. =/ shooooot. i started getting a hell lot nervous. seriously. i dont know how hard the passage is going to be. and despite the fact that there arent pictures anymore, i was still kinda scared about the conversation. anyway. the passage turned out pretty alright, no doubt harder than usual though. but i have uhhh mixed feelings about the conversation. blahhhh.


so anyway, since im reg3, i was one of the first to go back into class. and ya, it kinda seemed like another free block. haha. so then CLE. i wasnt really paying attention at the beginning. but then ms ong, sherilyn, yoon jung, may, yi wye, sarah started talking about MEMORABLE CONFLICTS o.O haha. so it was quite fun.


went to subway with ruth sherry jodi yirong after school. teehee. so funnn-Y. sherry you are so totally the ultimate loveeeeee. (((: mickey and minnie! and MY imagination rocks sooo much too. x) i swear i wont tell anyone about that, just dont poke me in school tomorrow. sheesh.


yay. phones are nice. talking on the phone is even nicer. god knows why i suddenly like it so much. tis quite funnn come to think of it. but hell, i shall resolve not to talk until after 11 on weekdays and after 1 on weekends. plah. so there.

yay. yesterday's ndp celebrations were quite fun. but i kindof have a bad impression of the guest speaker. he wasnt wearing anything red or white, and he was wearing CROCS. it's like, overly informal rright?


anyway, i didnt really pay attention to the sec3s and sec4s class performances. the communal singing was nice. and the people in the amphi made nice circles. toobad we couldnt play with those big blue balls since we're wayyyyyyyyy high up. haha.


oh right. at the end, these really cute soft toys of pooh, eeyore, etc started sliding down these ropes. haha. and right at the very end, 2 cute bears slid down on two different ropes and two ends of the singapore flag were attached to each of them :D


so after that, we cabbed to tao nan. the boys were already there. saw ms theng and mrs crayon tan's son is soooooooooo cute! went to parkway for lunch at jack's place. dont worry cj, i WILL pay you back on monday. x) after lunch, most of them went home.


but me cj sherry waye jae went back to taonan. uberrrr irritating security guard. anyways, we found ms theng in the hall playing badminton. yup. then kevin greg arnold ben came along. but they soon left lurh, except kevin. anyway, we sat on the stage steps talking to ms theng and it was quite fun!


so ya. we talked and talked and talked. haha. and we all left at 5 cos i was supposed to be home by 6. haha. by that time, there was only waye, jae, cj, sherry, kevin and tiet ho [he came later] left. haha quite cool.

oh oh. i've been meaning to blog about this but i keep forgetting. haha. yup. i realised people usually call me hj, or rather, refer to me as hj. but then again, no one actually calls me that to my face, except maybe joy. x) AND people tend to spell my name as "Huijie" and not "Hui Jie". haha. my dear dear darlings, my name is in TWO words. not that i really mine though. x)

weeeee. i actually managed to pay alot of attention during jap yesterday. oh yes, and i failed my jap ca4. sometimes i wonder if it's just too much, and that it's pulling my grades down. not as if i exactly look forward to going to class either. but i just gotta tell myself that IM NOT A QUITTER!! oh yes, and i totally think guys are oh-so-very-dao, well most of them anyway. dont you just agree?


so anyway, yesterday seemed to pass at an exceedingly fast pace. well geography was as usual, real quick, because of mrs mo. and im a speaker for the GM foods debate, though i seriously honestly want to be in the opposition. ahwells. and for history, we had the presentation of the golden ages. time really flew in this one, because of all the hilarious-ness and craziness of the skits, presentations, etc.


and then recess. after that, english. which is actually quite the same. mmhmm. then maths, and mrs ang forgot the time lesson started so when she did come into class, half the lesson was past. and smart old me managed to finish all my english homework and 3/4 of the maths assignment during that "free" period.


chinese was more interesting than usual, probably because we were talking about the evolution of chinese characters which is quite fascinating if u really think about it. i think learning the basics of chinese word formation actually makes remembering how to write the words a whole lot easier. and it probably would help when u're trying to deduce its meaning too! and then com studs, i finally finished my flash project since i was done with my dreamweaver pages already ((:


so, today. not too bad. PE-aces day dance. goodness, it's really quite hard. and very tiring after all. god knows, by the end of the 5sets of dances, i was sweating and panting like crazy. ok, maybe not. some of the actions are really weird, like the "wash and dry" one. but it's actually quite fun too! took our height and weight after that. i grew by 2cm, but i lost weight. o.O


yup. and let's fast forward to history. mdm roz didnt come, i called the staffroom many times but no one picked up. so the entire class thought she was on mc. but we saw her in the hall during assembly.


and talking about assembly, today's was really interesting! the singaporean film producer hoyston tan came. and he showcased some of his films. there was this really cool one of ordinary people doing ordinary stuff yet forming music. abit like stomp i guess. then he showed us the trailer of the upcoming movie 881.


and after that, he invited eric ng on stage, a pop musician, who did songs for stephanie sun etc. yup. they were quite informal and quite amusing. they told us alot about the production of 881 and all the hard work and preparation they put in. i think it's really cool that the school exposes us to this kinda things!


and then after school, guides. vanessa passed me my guides tshirt. i think mine's huge, even though it's XS. i think i shall swap with vanessa after all, for the XXS. she is bigger sized than me anyway. haha.


guides seem to pass really quickly today as well! well, we learnt about stress management and we all passed that. and after that was company games which was really hilarious, thanks to my sec3 seniors. ha! and shortly after that, we were dismissed. (:


yay! tomorrow, gonna do CIP at orchard from 10-2. and after that, i shall go out for lunch with bernice and then we're gonna go to the popular sale at orchard mrt. :D and we'll probably go to paragon too, cos bernice wants to check out the muji store and i wanna buy more of their pens too! haha!

heyys! wellwell, today - RS, aesthetics, physics. RS, the usual, and it's the last lesson today. actually, i think it is quite a useful skill and module even though some people disagree and think it's a waste of time. let's just say that i think i can apply of the skills into research and FPSP.


aesthetics. well, our song is so FUNNAYE. haha. yup. and we kinda totally scraped last week's song. talking about that, i cant even find that encore document anymore. it just, like, vanished into thin air! haha. and then later, our music arrangement, quite fun. but there was something very very wrong with our tempo mann. haha. and we got to listen to the other groups too!


physics - nothing much. measured density of fruits. cheryl chose an apple for us. haha. right. after school, lunched and walked out of school with sarah. goodness, if u heard what we were talking about, you'd probably think we're mad. x) haha.
